With 2.5 m resolution and a size of 27 km x 27 km, PAN-Aft merged with IRS-P6 LISS-III data allow visual interpretation and the fulfilment of mapping tasks up to 1:12,500 scale. Data from the PAN-Aft camera, mounted with an along-track tilt of -5º compared to the +26º of the PAN-Fore camera, are used for the production of these merged products, whenever available. At the end of a pass, only PAN-Fore data are available. IRS-P5 Cartosat-1 merge products are ortho corrected and have a positional accuracy better then 10 m CE90. They are available in natural colour (R-G-B) or false colour (SWIR-NIR-R), stored in a single 3-band GeoTIFF file, or as 5 band-separated GeoTIFFs.
