Acquisition Planning

In recent years, Euromap has systematically acquired a nearly cloud free coverage of IRS data. This coverage is systematically updated by regular acquisitions of IRS-P6 Resourcsat-1 and IRS-P5 Cartosat-1 data.

If you plan a monitoring project then please contact our customer support at least six weeks before the first acquisition is necessary and communicate your requirements regarding the type of data you need, your exact area of interest and the time windows in which you need data. Our customer support will then consider your demands and schedule the necessary acquisitions if possible.

When you plan projects where you have some freedom regarding the project area...

you can use the Nominal Coverages to optimise the number of required scenes.

For monitoring projects...

you can use the Path Calendars to check when acquisitions of your areas are theoretically possible.
