These IRS-1C LISS-III images show an area around Arles at the River Rhone in southern France. The image on the left was acquired on 23-Jun-2003. The acquisition on the right is from 8-Dec-2003 when large areas were still flooded despite improving whether conditions. The area shown in the sample is approximately 70 km x 60 km. Vegetation appears red with this false colour combination NIR, red, green = RGB. |
