GAF AG, the parent company of Euromap, has been active as a value adder and software developer in the field of remote sensing since 1985 and has gained a reputation as a provider of high quality products and services throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, Central and South America.

Since mid 2009, e-GEOS S.p.A., a company 80% controlled by Telespazio S.p.A. with 20% participation by the Italian Space Agency, is the sole shareholder of GAF AG. Telespazio's earth observation division was integrated into e-GEOS, which has commercial distribution rights for COSMO-SkyMed, GeoEye-1 and IKONOS data.

The German Aerospace Center DLR operates the national German satellite data receiving ground facility in Neustrelitz, located about 120 km North of the city of Berlin, as well as ground stations in Antarctica, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. DLR supplies Euromap with the crucial reception service for data from the fleet of Indian Remote Sensing Satellites.
